Vostok-6 is the 6th manned spacecraft in the Vostok program.
The spacecraft flew on 16th June 1963.
While she flew, Valery Bykovsky flew in Vostok-5.

Mission's flight
Vostok 6's launch proceeded with no difficulties. Data collected during the mission provided better understanding of the female body's reaction to spaceflight.
Flight failure
After the flight from Earth, Tereshkova discoved that she was moving away from the Earth rather than approaching it.
She fixed it on her own and safed her own life.
Valentina was in space almost 3 days and landed on 19 June 1963.
